Rescue the boys

With our transformative project – ‘Rescue The Boys’ – we are able to equip every young man that connects with us to thrive and flourish as they transit from adolescence to adulthood; digging deep into the psychological and emotional frustrations of the boy child to free him from the psyche-damaging issues that conditions him in the environment.
In March 2025, Zabethan Foundation launched the “Rescue the Boys” initiative, marking a significant milestone in our commitment to empowering vulnerable boys in Lagos. Our inaugural outreach event was held at the Ajegunle Community Center, where we engaged with over 100 boys aged 10 to 16.

Looking Ahead

Elizabethan H&H Foundation is committed to the responsible expansion of the Rescue The Boys (RTB) architecture, guided by readiness, professional collaboration, and long-term impact.
At this stage, our focus is on three RTB platforms being implemented as pilot schemes:
RTB Trailblazers, a school-based intervention designed to operate through professional guidance and capacity-building within educational systems Rescued & Rising, a community-based platform engaging at-risk boys through drug education, guidance, and talent development pathways.
RTB Return, a restorative programme delivered within correctional settings to support emotional rebuilding and reintegration preparation for men These focus areas allow us to strengthen delivery frameworks, deepen learning, and refine partnerships before broader activation of additional RTB platforms.
Looking ahead, our priority remains clear: to strengthen emotional foundations early, support restoration where needed, and contribute to healthier families, safer communities, and more balanced societies.
